Thanks you guys!! Sounds like we’re lots of Hungry Girl fans – love her! Also, I needed the support on the running – good to know I’m not alone that runs don’t always work out. Homecookedem said “Some days I go out and can knock out 6 miles no problem, other days I want to stop after 1.” I feel like some days 25 minutes at 6.3 is NOTHING, and other days… after 10 minutes I don’t think I can go on – so strange! I’m getting used to it though and am looking forward to a time when I can run more consistently – I’m hanging in there! I really appreciated Melissa’s advice to about cutting down the speed – I may try it! Also, LOVED your thoughts on rompers. Gabriela brought up a good point about the hassle of going to the bathroom – SO true! Haute Teapot also cracked me up in that she was actually wearing a romper at the time of reading the post! Haha
So let me rehash the weekend in a nutshell – no photos – dead camera – eek! Friday I worked, walked 4 miles during lunch, worked more, then headed home to be with Reuben and cook a new recipe before book club – Chili Noodle Bake by Recipes For Moms – loving this blog! Here is how I made it for SIX servings:

1 pound 96/4 Ground beef
1 can (15 oz.) Hormel 98% fat-free turkey chili with beans
¼ cup fat-free shredded cheddar cheese
1 oz. Cabot 75% light cheddar cheese
1 14.5 oz. can diced tomatoes
1 11 oz. can corn
8 oz. egg noodles
Preheat oven to 350. Cook noodles according to package directions. Meanwhile, brown beef until no longer pink. Drain noodles. Drain meat. Combine Meat, chili, tomatoes, corn and noodles. Transfer to greased 13x9 baking dish. Cover and bake for 20 minutes. Uncover, sprinkle with cheese and bake for 5 – 10 minutes or until heated through.
After dinner me and Reuben headed over to Crystal’s for book club sleepover! He had so much fun with her little yorkie Annie, and I had so much fun with Crystal, Stacy and Devon! We talked a good bit about the book, and then everything else of course – jobs, babies, exercise, nutrition – you name it! Great girl night! I was SO tired and went to bed ready to REST. But bad weather woke baby Grady which woke Reuben so we didn’t sleep long! Eek! I ended up at 1,998 calories, 168 carbs, 49 fat grams and 95 protein grams. Here’s what I ate.
On Saturday morning I ended up waking up around 7 and driving home to go to sleep until 1. Bliss! I had a Big Pig in a Blanket, a string cheese and some pretzels, showered, and then me and Austin hit up Crate & Barrel before heading to my sis’s new house in East Atlanta! They moved in Friday, so we brought over a giftie and visied with her, my mom and my stepdad! Then we rolled over to Smyrna to Monica’s for her birthday party! We got to Mon’s around 6 and had so much fun visiting with everyone, playing flipcup and hanging out. The weather was A.W.F.U.L. but we didn’t let it ruin the fun! Apparently too much fun – the neighbors called the cops on us for the music! And Austin knew the cop – so funny – it was a guy from college! LOL We ended up staying the night in Smyrna and I ended up at 1,960 calories, 166 carbs, 41 fat grams and 62 protein grams. Here’s what I ate.
So yes, I had two sleepovers this weekend! Good times – and so great to have little Reuben with me all weekend! So how was your weekend? Any run-ins with the cops? LOL
