Running Progress, Shower Hosting and Family Day!

Hi Friends! I hope you’re all doing well! I’m so behind on blogging and blog reading – here goes a post, then I’m off to play catch up and see how you’re all doing – yay!

Friday started out super hectic – I still felt very overwhelmed and just stressed out! :( I got in early and got to work and got TONS done, then during lunch I walked 4 miles with Stacy – felt great to get that in! I worked more, and then after work I walked 3 minutes at 4.0, ran 20 minutes at 6.3, ran 1 minute at 7.5, and then walked for a minute or two to cool down. 21 minutes straight – yay! Working my way back up! Afterwards we did legs and then I ran TONS of errands – gas, grocery store, liquor store, library and then home to 3-cheese Manicotti, a few crafts for a shower and then out with Austin, Tyson and John to Buckhead (usual loop of bars – although we did try a new cocktail bar first – Buckhead Bottle Bar. It had just opened so it was fun to try a new spot, but was still pretty dead since it was so new. Fun to enjoy a drink in a non-crowded place though!! We had fun – I ended up at 1,966 calories, 170 carbs, 46 fat grams and 112 protein grams. Here’s what I ate.

The Bottle Bar - LOVE all of those little pendants

Dinner - YUM!

Saturday I slept in and then quickly ran out of time – no time for gym as I needed to get ready and get all of my stuff together to co-host a stock the bar shower for Stacy and Shane! I finished crafts and loaded up a platter, table, my activity (memory jar of “drinking stories” with a birdcage, slips, framed picture, etc.) and then we headed out! Austin dropped me off at Jennie’s house in Mabry, then headed over with Reuben to meet Stacy & Shane. Me and Stacy’s BMs decorated (although most was done when I got there) and got ready to party. All of the guests came around the same time – love that – and we had a great night of dinner, drinks, cornhole, convos and good times!

Welcome signs that Mandy made!

So fun to hang out with their friends and get to know the other BMs better. Once it got late night we headed out to the bar and then back to Stacy and Shane’s where we all stayed up way too late talking and having an iPod singalong. Oh my! Haha So much fun though. Here is my estimate: 2,118 calories, 145 carbs, 63 fat grams and 68 protein grams. Here’s what I ate and drank.

Sunday I woke up around 11 at Stacy’s, went to Jennie’s to get all of my party stuff and then had lunch with Austin, Stacy, Shane and a bunch of their friends at Five Guys. I had never eaten there before and probably won’t go back again – I just can’t eat burgers out – they don’t taste right (probably because they’re not 96/4 and upset my tummy!). After lunch we headed home, unloaded the car, cleaned the house, bathed little Reuben and took a nap! Then it was movie time, pizza time and reading time – I got about 100 pages of our book club book, Wildwood, read – pretty good so far – definitely waiting for something else to happen though! I ended up at 1,510 calories, 228 carbs, 55 fat grams and 38 protein grams. Here’s what I ate.

So not a bad weekend at all! However, I’m pumped to have a few chill days this week. Movies tomorrow with my mom (Twilight!), a drink with an old co-worker Wednesday and just chilling until this weekend when hit the lake!

Q: What was one highlight of your weekend?

Q: Seen any good movies lately??! I want to see Toy Story 3! Looking forward to Twlight 3, too!

How fun!! Such pretty BMs!! :)

I can't eat regular burgers either. My tummy can only handle lean burgers. But I've always wanted to try 5 Guys' fries. I've heard yummy things about them!

Congrats on your 20 minute run, very empowering!

Looks like you had a fabulous (but busy) weekend! I admit that I can't wait to see Twilight this week and Toy Story 3 looks pretty good too! :)

I know how you feel about C25K and the 2 steps forward, 1 step back. I got out of the running pattern for a month and it's been pretty rough trying to get back to where I was before. Keep up the good work, though! :)

Love your dress and the set up for food! Very cute.

Just saw SATC2 for the 2nd time with my mom and sister and watched Karate Kid because another movie was sold out--it was cute. I wouldn't mind seeing Grown-Ups--I have a soft spot for David Spade since Just Shoot Me.

WOW! I know I am horribly behind on your blog, but I'm just catching up and can't believe what a little runner you have turned into! Good for you! I'm inspired :)

I'm really looking forward to seeing Eclipse! We say "Knight and Day" last weekend and that was really cute and funny.
