Wedding Weekend, Buffet Woes

Thanks, friends! I was SO HAPPY about how Zach's pics turned out!! eeee! I hope Austin had the best 30th birthday. I must say, now that I've wrapped up his birthday planning as well as my bridesmaid's duties for Stacy's wedding this past weekend I feel a little odd. No party planning?! haha Good thing I have Emily's wedding/my bridesmaid duties in October and a few other partays to look forward to helping out with!

So this weekend - Friday was really just leave work at 11:30, head to Woodstock for Stacy's bridesmaid's luncheon, visit with the ladies, get manicures/pedicures and then race home.
The maids + the mamas

I changed clothes and we left at 5 p.m. for Stacy's rehearsal (had to be there at 6 - takes 30/40 minutes to get there). Well, traffic didn't agree. I got there at 7. One hour late. Pissed off and rain-soaked. GRRR. The rehearsal went off well though and then we headed to the rehearsal dinner which also went off well! Good times were had by all!

Thought the room looked great!

Saturday I woke up around 9:30, showered, gathered my things and headed down to Van Michael in Buckhead for a shampoo, cut and style. Loves! We just trimmed the hair (growing it back out again!) and then she curled it with a flat iron for Stacy's wedding. Loved it! Then I was off to Stacy's for her wedding day! A few snags occurred but we all pulled through and made it to the ceremony/reception site (King Plow) on time! We saw the flowers (eee!), the space (perfect!) and everything was in line and exactly what they wanted. Pictures started and the whole day unfolded great into the ceremony and reception. I could go on and on but it was exactly what they wanted - great layout of the room, awesome decor, loved the uplights, super fun band - PERFECT. I was so happy to be a part of it. I haven't downloaded all of my pics yet and of course these are NOT the pro shots (and since I was in the wedding I couldn't really take a lot the day of) but here are a few of my fun favorite shots!

After the wedding we had a drink at Frontpage News and then met up with some of the bridal party and friends at the W hotel in midtown for more drinks and good times, and then it was off to a cab to go home!

Sunday was spent sleeping. Then we got up, did laundry, cleaned a bit and headed to King Plow to pick up the car and then to Madras Chttinaad where I made the mistake of getting the buffet and not feeling too good after - eek! Good food, but too much of a good thing is no good. Oopsie! Then it was back to the house, nap time, a bit more cleaning, and movie day with the family. My sister and Zach came by to bring me some stuff I left with them after the wedding and they stayed over for dinner - nice to have them! Definitely a nice day to end the weekend, and I was asleep by 10:30 to prepare for my Monday - woo!

Q: Buffet: Yay or Nay? I clearly cannot do these. Just don't know when to quit!

Q: Weddings - ever been a bridemaid? Love it or hate it? I love it!
