Remy Update, New Video Camera, Almost the Weekend

Thanks you guys! I think they did pretty good in their little costumes! I'm putting Remy in clothes quite a bit to get her used to them - she seems to adore them so far! Quick Remy Update:

  • Is going #1 and #2 on her pee pad - for the most part. Still need to get better about taking her EVERY time she wakes up from a nap. Once potty training is down, will start obedience training.
  • Is learning her own name - it's happening! Exciting to see the recognition.
  • Is getting along well with big brother Reuben - she definitely defers to him on many things, but clearly loves him and looks up to him; is upset when he gets up or down to places she can't.
  • Is learning stairs...slowly. She doesn't mind going up but is not down with going... down.
  • Is going on her first road road trip this weekend - will also meet her Mimzy (my mom!) on Saturday.
  • Sleeps through the night. Is even sleeping with us now. We sleep.... then when we wake up she wakes up, we carry her to her mat, she pees on it, and then is ready to eat/drink again. Her schedule is working itself out well.
All in all, we're so happy with her and proud of our new addition. It's so fun to watch her and Reuben interact and enjoy each other's company.

Other than the Remy update, yesterday was a bit of a wash. It rained. I worked. I walked 4.5 miles during lunch. We had planned to go to a chili cookout with friends last night, but had too much work to do, too many errands to run, and too much preparation to do for our weekends SO, we divided and conquered. Austin took the dishes, I took the laundry, Austin took PetSmart and the grocery story, I took Macy's, Bed Bath and Beyond and Target. We paid bills, made an appointment to have my car looked at, etc. One of those nights. I will say that we got a new video camera - it came via Amazon- yay! TheFlip Ultra HD.

I LOVE my little harinezumi, but I need a second camera to film at night! We can't wait to test it out this weekend.

Q: Do you shoot video? If so, what camera do you have and do you like it?!

Q: What are you doing this weekend? I'm really excited! Tomorrow night I have a couple of birthday get togethers and Saturday i'm going to a baby shower and wedding - and hopefully a blogger meet up! Can't wait to see my friends and spend the weekend with my mom!

SO glad to hear Remy is doing well :) And its just fabulous that Remy and Reuben are getting along so great. Yayyyy. I want one of those flip cams. They're cute and so convenient. I can't wait to hear what you think of yours. What a busy weekend you have on tap! But all fun stuff :) Mine is a little up in the air. Just hoping to relax and spend time with the man and family

Yep, some nights are just like that - go, go, go - but I feel accomplished when we are done! :D

Our dog was already a year old (or two? - we adopted him) when we got him, so no potty training was needed - sounds like things are going really well though!

I am seeing my Mom on Saturday for lunch - haven't seen her since her 70th birthday party on September 17 - she just got back from Brazil so can't wait to see the pics.

Remy is so stinkin' cute!!!!

So cool that you got a FLIP! I really want to get one for big daughter - she loves to make and edit movies. She even writes her own scripts and has her friends act them out while she "directs"!

I love my Flip Video camera too! I do need to use it more often and make videos. This weekend I think I'll go Zumba and then work. My office needs some cleaning and it's across the street from the rec center. I'm excited for FRIDAY!

Love little Remy! We have some camera. Ryan got it for Christmas last year. It's small too. I believe he took it with him though. I use my phone a lot to tape things (read:Max).

I'm ready for the weekend! I'm going to a B-day party with the fam Saturday and I have a Mary Kay party Sunday. Who knows what other shenanigans will come up though!

Oh your weekend sounds so fun! I do use cameras every once and awhile, it's a Sony SR10. I'm so bad at DOING stuff with the footage though. Your little camera looks fun and I bet you'll use it a lot because of the size. For the weekend, I may go up to a friend's Dad's lodge. It's amazing and on 2,000 acres--with 4-wheelers and horses. Hoping I do. I bet your blogger meet up will be fun, take pictures!!

Yay! I love that little camera. We have a Canon Vizia? and it is really fabulous. A little pricey, but we've enjoyed it!

Thanks for the puppy update!! Mine's about a year and a half now, so it wasn't too long ago that I was potty training little Sheldon! I have puppy training books that I no longer need, so let me know if you want me to send them down to you, because I totally will! :)

That pic of Remy should be entered in a photo contest. Don't have a Flip..right now I really don't have any use to it. I would be interested in purchasing one if I had fur babies or human children. lol

Remy's a cutie!

no video camera here. But I do have fun plans for the weekend. My little sister is coming to visit and we're going to the Chomp and Stomp Chill Cookoff in Cabbagetown.

Remy is SO cute!!! Loved their tiger costumes. I put a pumpkin tshirt on Charley and he wigged out. Guess he's too spastic for clothes...

Excited about your flip - can't wait to hear how you like it!

Oh and my cousin, Lindsay started reading your blog and is obsessed! She wrote about you on her own blog: http://z-pack.blogspot.com/

You're famous! ;)

Take care,

Nice camera!! That look super cool!

Your puppy is so cute too, I've never owned a dog in my life but have 3 cats.

We have the exact same Flip Cam. Sadly, we don't use it as often as we should... But when we use it, we love it.

Hope you had a great weekend! We went to Foodbuzz and had lots of fun.

Have a great week!
