April Weight

April Calories
Yay! I’m proud of my weight maintenance (under 115 and reaching 113!) and of not having too many ‘high days’ – especially with all of the convenience crap I ate! I’m a little disappointed that I didn’t walk more – it’s going to be hard to make up 30 miles! And that strength training really fell off the radar! But I know I’ll improve and May will be a great month!!

A Look Back: April Goals

1. Have 7 or less days over 1,700 calories. DONE I had exactly 7 – woo! Glad I upped my calories, too – 1,700 is definitely a good # for me!
2. Weigh 113 10 days this month. DONE I weighed 113 or less 24 days this month – VERY exciting! Staying under 115 seems doable – I just would like to be right under – not at 110….
3. Walk 84 miles AND do strength training 3 days/week (day 1 chest/tris; day 2: abs/legs; day 3: back, bis, shoulders) Didn’t happen at all. Was shy 32 miles and the ST was BAD. But that’s okay –May is another month!
4. Introduce 2 new recipes. DONE Thanks to Aggie’s kitchen we tried (and loved!) the chicken sausage pasta AND the artichoke lemon chicken – thanks!!
5. Update the home blog 4 days/week. DONE Sadly I didn’t update fittingbackin enough though!
6. Read 1 book and 3 home décor magazines. Didn’t happen! I will move this over to May!
7. Make a headboard for the guest bedroom (eeee!) DONE Kind of. I bought one instead.
8. Refinish TWO dressers and get new hardware. DONE kind of. I decided not to refinish them but DO still need to get hardware.
9. Decide once and for all which Ikea items I want for my scrapbook room! DONE I need to post pics- I got all of the Ikea items I need – but I do have some more work to do in that room!
10. Make a list of items I want for the house; prioritize them; SAVE money for them! DONE (still saving though - obvi!)
A Look Ahead: May Goals
1. Have 7 or less days over 1,700 calories.
2. Weigh 113 or less 20 days this month.
3. Walk 100 miles
4. Do strength training 3 days/week (day 1: chest/tris; day 2: abs/legs; day 3: back, bis, shoulders)
5. Introduce 4 new recipes.
6. Update the home blog 4 days/week AND fitting back in 5 days/week
7. Read 1 book and 3 home décor magazines.
8. Organize 2 weeks of meal plans; print them out and make grocery lists of each.
9. Finish both guest rooms and the scrapbook room (paint shutter; paint chair; get new hardware; hang stuff!)
10. Take measurements! I want to start taking measurements every Thursday morning. No Excuses! 1st and 15th just wasn’t working – I never know what the date is!
I'm a little worried about May… I just know I’m still pretty pumped about finishing the house… but at least we’re in town EVERY weekend! Yessss. Granted – we have a wedding weekend that we’re both in one weekend, and a lake trip another weekend – but we’re in Atlanta so I’m SO EXCITED! I’ve just got to stay focused on eating right and working out even when things get busy, you know? I think that’s why for this month I upped the goals – 100 miles AND 4 new recipes. And I really want to get those weeks of meal plans READY! I need to get organized in this new house!

Whoa--I must have missed the day you got down to 109! Craziness!
Alright, so...what is the secret to maintenance?! I'm doing alright since I accepted a higher weight window, but I want my old weight back ( -5lbs)!!

Hey
Rather than just reading I thought I would comment today!!
been followin your blog for a few months now and love your balanced approach.
Well done for maintaining so well whilst you had other stuff going on.
Just wondered if it is a software or a prgramme that you get your charts done in? looking for a tracking system myself.

THANKS
Shar :)

Thinspired: I know it! I was like what in the? haha I have no idea!! I think it's getting stressed over buying a house! j/k

Brandi: Hey! I don't link to it - i'll have to share it! It's not really private - it was kind of just a place for me and Austin to keep up with progress and only a few know about it. I'll post about it! WARNING: a lot of the stuff is duplicate info you read here! Just ONLY house-related! So glad you love the pics!!

Shar: Hi!! So glad you did! I'm trying - I think I just came to realize there was ALWAYS other stuff going on so I needed to make it work!! I use Spark People. They have reporting (which actually just got upgraded) and I love it!! Thanks for reading - I need to come visit you!

Kelly: haha Thanks, I think! j/k

Mica: Thanks, girl! It was a crazy busy month - argh - i'm ready for the slow down!! :)
