Birthday Celebration, New Workout Clothes (and Regular clothes!), 3 New Recipes and Legs/Abs + 1 Mile

Friday was a great day! Just went to work, worked out (leg workout; ab workout and walked 1 mile), then went straight to Andy and Monica’s apartment to begin our weekend! I hopped in the shower, then Austin came with Reuben, then Andrew and Randy came and then we all hopped in a cab for El Taco. Mary, Scott, Laura Anne, Matt, Meagan and Laura Anne met us there and we ate and had fun! We were all a bit underwhelmed by the food…. But thanks to my co-worker we had buy-one-get-one-free coupons so at least we didn’t spend too much! We left there and went to Moe’s and Joe’s, Cavern and this underground bar. It was a blast – good times, and more peeps met up with us (Stacy, Shane, Robyn) – awesome! We had SO much fun and ended the night drinking pony buckets and dancing before cabbing it back to their place for a slumber party. I overindulged fo sho…. And ended up at 2,477 calories, 195 carbs, 47 fat grams and 93 protein grams. Here’s what I ate. I’ll post some pics later this week (haven’t downloaded!).

Needless to say I slept awful on Friday night with all of the peeps in one place and Reuben and everything. But it was all good because all the boys got up and piled in Mon’s car to head to Auburn for the Mississippi State game. Me and Mon hung back and watched crap TV, played on the computer, ventured out for Dick’s (new workout clothes!), Old Navy (new clothes!), and Trader Joe’s/Kroger (yes… we made our weekly meal plans together and then grocery shopped together – love it!).

Nike top - racer back - love! (and love the polka dots)

Retro lilac racer bank ribbed tank

My favorite top! Love the back! (Fila) I think it's a yoga top but whatevs

At Old Navy I got a pair of sweat pants, an undershirt/bra thing for deep v-necks, 2 scarves and 2 dresses... Love this little Old Navy dress- only $15!!

I plan to wear it in the fall with flats....

And in the winter with the new $10 scarf!! (already had boots/coat) Will wear black patterned tights!

Got the same dress in black/gray...

And another colorful scarf to go with my purple coat!

For work i'll wear this H&M little coat thing!!

Our last stop was a yummy Mediterranean place where we grabbed some gyros/hummus to go and then got back to her place, put on sweats, ate and hung out! Such a great time! We just talked, shared recipes and rested. Loved it! I got SO MANY recipes from her and plan to make lots this week – woo! I didn’t eat TOO bad… but did have 1,825 calories, 247 carbs, 61 fat grams and 66 protein grams. Here’s what I ate.

Today was a great day – I made 3 new recipes (and loved them all), Austin got back from a great boy’s trip, me and Reuben just lounged around the house and cooked – love it! Tomorrow I’ll post recipes for: Breakfast Muffin Pizzas, Taco Soup and Spinach & Beef Manicotti!!!

Oh my gosh, those clothes are SO cute! I swore off Old Navy a few years ago after their clothes started falling apart on me after a few weeks but I think I need to give them another try! I want that dress!

April: The boots are DSW!! I have a pair in brown from Baker's - those are the only places I get shoes at (unless Macy's has a sale!)

You look adorable in your Old Navy dresses, all set for Fall with your scarves and boots and coats.

It is so much more fun to shop and put together outfits when you're happy with your weight / body. You look too cute!
