C25K, 7 Miles, Fun Times with Friends

Thanks you guys! So glad you're with me on the trees. Ugh - they've GOT to go! Also, I'm glad you thought the pizza looked yum - I think pizza is my favorite thing to make!! (if someone else spreads out the dough! haha) Sounds like a lot of us have some 'fix-its' and 'to-dos' around the house. I'm with Sara - one thing at a time, one day at a time! It DOES get overwhelming when you see this monster list of everything to do! And inmytummy - yes - younghouselove is one of my FAVORITE blogs (I keep it on my home blog). I get so much inspiration from them!! Sunny, I LOVE the idea of a red front door and Jacy - yes, please send your before and after pics!

Backing up a bit, Friday was a bit of a blah day at first. Didn’t want to go to work. Went to work. Worked. Walked 4 miles during lunch (took 60 minutes; burned 178 calories). Worked more. Blah. I had a hard time staying motivated and definitely had to take some work home. Grrr. After work, me and Stacy went down for C25K. I did the Week 5, Day 1 work out again (3 5-minute runs) – this time I walked it out to 3 miles and burned 191 calories in 36 minutes. Definitely fun to hang out with Stacy – her wedding plans are coming along SO well which is super exciting!

Then I headed home, baked a breakfast strata for Saturday’s breakfast, showered, ate dinner and we headed over to Lincoln and Shana’s! Lincoln has been traveling so much (like weeks at a time) so it’s been so hard to get together with them – but we had SO much fun chatting, having some drinkies and catching up!! We even went to bed at a decent hour instead of our usual 4 a.m. debauchery. I was asleep by a respectable 12:45 a.m. I know! I ended up at 2,035 calories, 52 fat grams, 200 carbs and 96 protein grams. Here’s what I ate.

Saturday I got up around 9 and headed home. Then my mom came over and we ran some errands, did some shopping and had a blast! I got:

  • 2 new Crate & Barrel pans – I’m SO excited
  • 2 Crate & Barrel large square serving dishes (who knew i hadn't registered for bowls? all platters!)
  • A bigger TV for the kitchen at Best Buy (moved other TV to my office!)
  • My wedding guest book delivered to the framers – can’t wait to share with you guys!

GREAT day! Mom headed home around 6 or so then me and Austin got ready and headed to Buckhead to meet Andy and Monica at Fado. We got a great spot on the third floor, then they took the tables and chairs away so we headed to Park Bench – LOVE that place! It’s too loud but the live bands are always fun!

Afterwards we hit up CafĂ© Agora for some gyros and hummus. I had hummus – LOVE that place. Then we hopped in a cab and went to bed around 3. GREAT night –so good to catch up with Mon and Andy. I ended up at 2,034 calories, 194 carbs, 45 fat grams and 105 protein grams. Here’s what I ate.

What did you do this weekend?

I'm not off to pick up our car, to the grocery stores, then back home to watch Twilight for 18th time - woo! Can't wait to read blogs - i'm still behind. :(

Anyone else grocery shopping today? I try to go once a week at most (sometimes once every two weeks) and I love to go on Saturday or Sunday!

What a fun day yesterday! I love Fado and Park Bench, esp now that it's getting warmer outside!

I normally go grocery shopping on Sat, Sun or Mon. I usually go every other week (since it's just me and it's easier for me to stick to my budget that way), but the day that I end up going just depends!

Sounds like such a fun weekend! I love getting new kitchenware :) I went grocery shopping today, too! I usually do 2 trips a week. Enjoy the remainder of your weekend!

Cute pics! And wasn't the weather gorgeous this weekend!? It was a great opportunity to finally go out!

I try to only go shopping once a week, which usually keeps me from buying too many impulsive buys!

I normally go grocery shopping on Sundays. I don't know why because it seems like everyone else does too and it's crowded. I go every week and a half or so. Usually Jason will also pick up random stuff during the week too.

Sounds like a fun week. I haven't been to either of those bars in a really long time.

Love all the pics! Especially that last one!

Yep, Sunday is my grocery store/cooking day - my favorite day of the week!

I agree, the B&W pic is too adorable!!

I just made a strata friday night too. One of Giada's recipes with berries, eggs, and ricotta cheese. Came out horrible, still eggy in the middle...

Grocery shopping is on the weekend + anything that we forget during the week. I should try your meal planning technique... see if I can get that number down.

Great photos. I especially love the black and white one. Gorgeous!

I try to get my grocery shopping done by Sunday morning, but unfortunately, I didn't get it done today... Luckily, we have plenty of veggies from our CSA delivery. I think we'll have some veggie soup and veggie pasta... :)

Have a great week!

Your hair looks GREAT in all of these photos! So shiny and healthy!

I really needed to go grocery shopping today and I didn't get it all done! Tomorrow, I guess. I can't imagine going every two weeks. We go at least once a week, sometimes 2-3! It's getting better since I started planning meals out though!

What a fun night! I've only been out in Buckhead once but it was a blast.

Oh and that pizza from your last post DOES look fancy. My drunken pizza slice of choice is always the bianca! Love ricotta cheese on top :)

I love your going out pictures- you always look like you have so much fun. Gotta agree with everyone else too- that last picture could not be any more adorable. I grocery shop 1 major time per week and then usually stop mid week for more produce/randoms! Have Monday night girlie

Hey, I checked out your progress pictures and weights and thought it was really interesting since my starting weight was 136 and I have been struggling to get just down to 130. I always feel like it should come off so fast and its nice to see how someone did with the same start point of me. Any tips on how to get through weekends as a young person with friends who always want to go out and eat junk?

I always have a long list of "fix its" around the house- I usually make a list each day and try to cross one thing off at a time- makes it much easier!

That black and white pic is so freakin' cute! You should frame it!

I def need to grocery shop... I tried last night at Trader Joe's, but the line was wrapped around the store to check out and they were out of a lot of stuff, so I gave up haha. Hope you were more successful than I was! :-)

You guys are so beautiful!

I am so amazed at how many miles you get in. It's awesome!

Isn't it amazing when you can stretch a grocery trip out for two weeks? I love grocery shopping when I don't have to do it all the time.

Hi! Could you post all the c2k workouts in one place sometime? Or a good website to look at it? I can't seem to find one.

You are so inspiring-- thank you!
