Awesome Bham Trip for Baby Emma, New Bag, Happy Toes

Let me start writing by saying i'm SO behind with my blog reading - eek! I'm going to catch up tomorrow a.m. - can't wait to see what you've all been up to!! Here's what my lovely Saturday looked like!! (followed by my Sunday sans photogs!)

Got up, got ready and left town by 9 a.m. We had my 'english muffin breakfast pizzas' on the way, split a bag of peanut M&Ms and stopped by a TJ Maxx in Anniston so I could grab a new bag to go with the color I plan on wearing lots this summer - blue!

We got to ham, dropped Reubs off with Austin's awesome parents and then headed to see Mary and Jimmy's little girl Emma get baptized!

lovely after party - I had my 'creamy sundried tomato pasta & chicken) between the church and the party but DID have some WONDERFUL cake there and heard the food was awesome! I also had a couple of glasses of vino.... fab!

And of course I was THRILLED to be with my girls - Devon, T, Mary, Mon and me (these 4 were all in my wedding - i'm a lucky girl to get to see them this much even though we all live in different cities!) Mary was SOOO happy that day celebrating her little girl - she is the first of us to have a baybay!

Me and Austin - had a great day with him - nice to chat in the car on the way over without TVs, video games, laptops and 100 other distractions!

After the reception me, T and Dev went for pedicures. Amazing. They do SUCH a good job at this place, i was like falling asleep in my chair - FOR REAL! I chose this fun purple color (well I think T chose it actually!) It was OPI He lurves me he lurves me not (something like that!). They got pretty pink colors!

I know... my foot is kinda gross looking... sorry!

After pedis we went to the Martins, visited with them and had wonderful snacks of stacy's pita chips, sabra hummus and turkey on sandwich thin sammies! We all had fun enjoying the outside at their house - they have a great setup with an outdoor fireplace - love it! After an hour or so we headed over to Mary & Jimmy's in casual clothes to rehash, catch up and chill! I had SOOO much fun visiting with everyone and hadn't laughed that hard in a LONG time!! Nothing like hanging out with peeps you've known for what seems like FOREVER! I'm so glad to have wonderful friends in my life!!

Lots of funny stories were told - total blast! (most were told by Jimmy - that guy was on FIRE!) I had a slice and a half of dominoes cheese pizza at Mary & Jimmy's - SO good - then we headed back to Austin's parents and tucked ourselves in around midnight - GREAT night!

I ended up at 2,396 calories, 231 carbs, 57 fat grams and 104 protein grams. Here's what I ate and drank. So yes, another day without workouts but MAN, so fun and WAY worth it! I'll work out Monday, right? Right!

Today we visited with everyone in the a.m., had a yummy breakfast, stayed around and hung out with the family and Austin's uncle who was in town, played on a pogo stick, drove back to Atlanta, read TONS of The Last Song (love it!), tried to play tennis again (more on that later!), tried to move around 3 rooms at the house (more on that later, too!), and did lots of stuff for the trip (started packing, did laundry, etc.). LONG day but got TONS done!! I ended up at 1,583 calories, 192 carbs, 53 fat grams and 81 protein grams. Here's what I ate.

How much do you LOVE hanging out with peeps you go "way back" with? I just can't get enough of it - it's like family - you can't get more relaxed ya know? Wouldn't have missed it for the world - can't wait to see the amazing pictures Zach gets of baby Emma and the fam!!!!!

What colors do you plan to wear this spring/summer? I'm super excited about blues, yellows and greens - loving the primaries!!
