Thanks you guys!! You’re SO sweet – I’m super excited for Austin and don’t even know if it’s hit me yet – just so very cool when good things happen! (I know, understatement – but ya know what I mean). Also great to read what some of your sig others are up to – impressive!! And I’m SUPER pleased to see that I have so many fellow library goers. I have to admit I was SO secretly pleased that Carrie Bradshaw is also a patron, a little known fun fact that was never apparent to me until the movie. This gave me pride – LOVE her (other little known fun fact – mine and Austin’s first pet together was a fabulous hammy named SJ).
On to life! Thursday in a nutshell:
Had some car trouble, got it fixed, for $14.50 – ROCKIN’
Worked from home – got lots done.
Went to the gym for 5 miles. Walked 3, hit up C25K and ran 22 (total 25, 160 calories, 2.5 miles) and then walked until 5 miles burning a total of 362 calories.
Drove Austin to Buckhead to have some celebratory drinks with his co-workers in Atlanta and NY. Swung over to Lenox to get a
dress at Urban Outfitters, 2 Lacostes for Austin and agift for baby Emma. Hit up Target for some randoms and Kroger for some forgottens. Then met Austin & the group at Kramer’s, which turned into 5 Paces, which turned into a late but fun night. Had a great time with his co-workers, some of which I’d never met (the NY crowd!). We danced, chilled and had a blasty!I ended up at 1,752 calories, 204 carbs, 27 fat grams and 87 protein grams. Here’s what I ate!

Worked. Hard. Had so much to do and even worked through lunch (i.e. no workout. Sad).
After work had a happy hour at my co-worker Emily’s – LOVE her house – I hadn’t seen it yet. She’s done a phenomenal job and her and her husband are so dang happy – awesome! Me, Em, Amanda, Kim and Clair had a few drinkies and lovely apps on Em’s huge covered deck under her fans – I’m so jealous of her fabulous outdoor setup!
Home to Austin, and GOT A SURPRISE – my vitatops had arrived from the wonderful giveaway – YAY!!! Thanks again, Genesis!!! You’re the bomb!
Wrapped a gift, packed up and got in bed – WOO!

If you have co-workers, do you love them? Me and Austin have always thought we got SO lucky on the co-worker front! Like, when you’ve been in your co-workers weddings and they’ve been in yours…. You’re tight!
What are you doing tomorrow – anything fun? I’m heading to Bham for baby Emma’s baptism and what I’m sure will be a super good time with great friends – yay!
