Outdoor Shoot, Book Club, 11 Miles

Thanks, friends! I'm sorry for all of the puppy talk and PROMISE this will be the last post with multiple pics of her... for a while. (That is until her and Reuben get to be absolute besties and I can do photo shoots of them together!!) Yes, I'm a psycho really good mom. Here goes:

Okay, okay, I know. :) Other than taking pictures and looking at pictures, yesterday was another super busy day at work, with a 4-mile walk in between, then a trip to the grocery store and a rush home to see the puppers! Definitely better than Monday, although i'm still feeling a bit overwhelmed which I do. not. like. I know it will slow down soon - I see the light!! Anywho (mini rant over) - last night we just chilled, cooked 4 servings of bacon ranch slowcooker chicken and 4 servings of fiesta chicken - yum! Then we had a glass of wine, watched an epsiode of Castle and called it a night.

Today went much better - aside from Remy's 7 a.m. grooming appointment. Oy. And the weather pretty much sucked. At least I got in a 5-mile walk at lunch and TONS of work, before heading home to the family (1-hour commute in rain... again), and then to book club at Shana's with Shana, Dev, Mon and Stacy!! SO fun: We got to see Devon and how much her little baby is growing (she's almost 20 weeks pregnant!); We got to hear all about Shana's new job and learn more about her new pregnancy news; I got to bring the pups and introduce Remy to the girls; Mon updated us on her house and Andy's job; Stacy and Ashley were on FIRE - cracked me up all night; Danielle was too funny - one of three of us to read the book this time (I know... we kinda sucked this month) and she didn't like it too much. Anywho - great night, great meal cooked by Shana, tons of laughs (everything from adlibbing what HGTV people were saying and talking about ghosts and EMPs, to discussing how we would hide drugs if we were drug mules - you know, randomly hilarious conversations). Great night! And the pups did great - Reuben bounced around happily the whole night, and Remy slept on Shana's side, and Danielle's side - well, she slept the whole time! LOL

Q: Do you have a lot of "girl nights"? I LOVE our book club and no matter how tired or busy I am, I enjoy my monthly visit with these ladies (yes, I usually see them at other times throughout the month, but it's great to all get together and catch up!).

Q: Do you know what an EMP is? I had never heard of it until tonight - apparently several girls in the book club are big into ghosts! LOL Like told crazy stories and freaked me out! haha
