4 miles, Baby Shower, Wedding & Birthday Parties

Hola friends! Happy Sunday! I hope you all had great weekends. Mine was awesome, although I missed Ausitn SO much - he was in Texas Thursday through today for a bachelor party - fun for him but sad for me, Reuben and Remy! Anywho - lots of backing up - here goes.

Thursday was great! I just worked A LOT, then took my car to the dealership during lunch to have the back-up camera looked at (it works well - but once in say 25 reverses it doesn't show me anything but black/graininess). It's under warranty but not for long, so I ran it over there. Then I just worked more, and hit up the gym for a 1.5 mile walk + 2.5 mile run. Not bad. I wanted to run 3 miles but my body was like nope, not today. After the workout I hit up the dealership, got my car, got my eyebrows waxed, then headed home to make 4 servings of spicy thai chili linguine, 4 servings of chicken enchilada casserole and 6 servings of breakfast potato sausage bake. YUM. Then I had a glass of wine and called it a night. Lovely!

Friday I just worked, walked 4.5 miles during lunch, worked more and then headed straight home to spend time with the puppers before going to Cush's birthday party at Orhmsby's and Turman's birthday party at Tavern 99. SO MUCH FUN. I went from an indoor-bocce ball place with great games to a dueling piano bar - NICE! I had a great time, but of course missed Austin so much!!) Fun to go out and not drink, too. I don't do that often but you guys - I enjoyed it! Nice to be able to drive myself home and drive my friends places. hehe

Katie, Mary, me and Betsy at Orhmsby's - so good to visit with Katie and Mary and great to meet Katie's sis!
Indoor bocce - too cool! (and yes, they have more than one court!)
Ruje, Mary and me - loved catching up with these girls!
The birthday boy + Katie!

Nicole, Mon, me and Laura Anne at Tavern 99
Birthday boy #2 on a piano. LOL They played the hangover/tiger song for him. Hilarious!
Birthday boy Andrew + Andy!

Saturday I got up early, got ready and met mom at 10:30 a.m. to head down to Enterprise! I really enjoyed the ride with my mom - lots of catch up time! We had Megan's baby shower at 2 p.m. and it was GREAT. She looked beautiful, had a wonderful turn out and got some beautiful things.

Lindz, Megan (little Ava!) and me
Us with our moms! Could we look more like our moms? LOL

Afterwards me and mom visited her bestie Tonnya and her daughter Samantha. So fun hanging out with them and catching up. Then it was dinner with my parents - love it - so fun to sit down with your parents, eat dinner and visit. Then Lindsey and Josh came to get me and it was time for Aaron's wedding at the Enterprise Country Club. I had SO much fun with Lindsey, Josh, Tyson, Jennifer and John - and it was great to see old friends and catch up with people!! I enjoyed seeing Aaron and Tenille have such a great time at their reception.

me and lindz - loved seeing her! Although I feel spoiled seeing her so much lately! Love it!
Me, Lindz and Jennifer - can't wait to see if she's having a boy or girl!!
the groom, Josh and Tyson!
So good to see Nikki again - it had been WAY too long!
Me and my bestie Tyson!!

What was the highlight of your weekend? Mine was definitely catching up with my mom and celebrating with my friends!

Have you ever been to a place with indoor bocce? I'm seriously fascinated by this - it was just SUCH a neat place - can't wait to go back!

I have been to precisely that place with indoor bocce ball. We actually went there for my bachelorette party.

Glad you had a nice weekend. My sister came to visit me so that was the highlight of mine.

What a great weekend Kelly! And I agree, sometimes its nice to go out and not have a drink - I usually drink club soda with lime - the only time I like it!

There is a place near our house called Pinstripes - not only is there bocce courts, but the most deluxe bowling alleys!

When we lived in the Midwest we played Bocce with our neighbors and it was so much fun! I have never see it played inside!
