Arizona Bound, Abs, Book Review, 4 Miles

Thanks you guys! I'm REALLY loving the new products - stay tuned for a review! Hope you all are having fabulous Fridays - mine is VERY hectic - so glad it's winding down. But back to yesterday, I had every intention of going to the gym. But, alas, I had to work through lunch and ended up working straight until 6:45. BOO. Too much work to do, not enough time. By then I was hungry and crabby and just wanted to REST. So I did. I also did abs as per my plan. I did this workout:

The night was SO chill and I needed it, because today was JUST as crazy. Sigh. I was able to get in my 4-mile walk during lunch. I wanted to go back to the gym but ended up working until 6:15 and heard traffic was bad so I headed on up to the house. I got in at 7 and had to get started packing for our trip to Glendale - almost time to fly to Arizona to see our Auburn Tigers play in the national championship game! WAR EAGLE! Anywho, me and Austin spent the evening packing 4 days of fun into tiny carry ons, then I worked some more, and now i'm blogging - OY - such a crazy day. Tomorrow should be chill though - i'm planning for gym, travel, blog reading (aircard and free wi-fi!) and reading my new book!

One more thing - on the way into work I finished James Patterson’s Beach Road (audio book). The book focused on an ex pro basketball player, Tom, potential basketball player, Donte, and lawyer, Kate. It focuses on one of them being accused for murder, but did they do it? If not, who did? It ends up being a great courtroom drama told from different perspectives. Very visual and easy to listen to and had lots of great twists. Like I would stay in my car to finish out chapters at work in the parking deck! I give this one a 4.5/5. I think the twist was great and the ending was yet another twist – so exciting to see how the killer gets caught – love. And I was glad that they wrapped up everyone's reactions, too.

Q: What are your weekend plans? Traveling or in town? I'd love to have a staycation but really am SO excited to get to Arizona, celebrate with our friends and see Auburn win the national championship - yessss - wonderful visual!

Q: Have you ever been to a national championship football game? This will definitely be our first one - can't WAIT!

Hope you have a great trip. Not a football fan at all - but definitely rooting for Auburn since I lived there. AR got beat at the Sugar Bowl...sigh..

You have been super busy! Hooray for your game! You guys must be so so excited. We have relatives in town- so spending a lot of time with them and then fitting in a little gym time.

My school didn't even have a football team! So I've definitely not been to a national championship game. Have a great time!

Other than my Catholic University's football team (which was pretty terrible, for the most part) I've never been to a college game.

Have a great trip! At this very moment, I'm waiting for the Comcast guy to set up my HDVD and fix my internet, while later I'm meeting the girls for a low key afternoon of shopping. Nothing too exciting over here. :)

I've never been at a game, but we watched the FSU Seminoles play a lot of great games when we lived in Tallahassee! Nothing like a huge college football game. Happy New Year to you!
