The Friends
I mean really - buddy is going to have everything! Such generous gifts from great friends - I believe we ended up with a little over 30 wonderful guests.

Two guests brought this beautiful diaper cake - I mean WOW - their were clothes, pacifers and more all sewn in!

The Food & Drink
The little fellas went FAST; Flavors included Champagne (sweet champagne cake topped with champagne buttercream frosting) and Chocolate Chip (chocolate cake w/chocolate chips baked in topped w/chocolate frosting). My friend Brittany's business Cocktail Cupcakes made them!!

WONDERFUL time - I think everyone had a great time, and most importantly Zach and Devon seemed to have a blast. I loved hosting everyone but as usual regretted how fast it went and how I felt like I didn't get to spend as much time visiting with everyone as I could have. What are you going to do? I think that's just part of it. The bad part as the rest is SO fun!
As you can imagine, I CRASHED on Saturday (after cleaning up), and got up Sunday around 10 a.m. We hung out with our overnight guests - the usual suspects: Mary/Jimmy and Teresa/Forrest. We also had a special guest - Mary & Jimmy's 1-year-old Emma - a total doll and so fun to be around. We all hung out, had breakfast and played Kinect until everyone had to go. Sad. Then it was just clean up, clean up and more clean up, laundry, napping and blogging - a pretty lovely Sunday!
Q: Have you ever hosted a party? If so, what was your favorite and least favorite part? I love it all - the planning, the inspiration boards, getting the menu together, choosing invitations, etc. All I don't like? Cleaning up! haha And not being able to spend as much time with each guest as I want. I feel like i'm fluttering around the whole time and not relaxing enough!
Q: Have you ever had Spaghetti Carbonara? I never had... but I made some last night and you guys? I'M A FAN. Check it out:

Review: We loved it! I would never in a million years think that eggs and parm would make such a yummy, thick, rich pasta sauce - I was pretty fascinated by that! This recipe was super easy to cook and I was pleased that it had so much protein even though it wasn't my usual 1 pound of meat recipe. Also, CHEAP. Estimation: $1 box of pasta, $.25 eggs, $.75 parmesan serving, $1 bacon serving, $.15 garlic/pepper/salt serving = $3.15 for entire recipe or $.78 per serving and let me tell you - it was FILLING! I'm a huge fan and will be making this easy, flavorful pasta dish again!
