What I ate… What didn’t I eat?
Breakfast: Banana and an English muffin/egg/Morningstar sausage sandwich
Lunch: HG Chicken Salad w/2 slices of nature’s own light wheat bread
Snack: 100 calorie chips ahoy candy bites; 5 baby carrots and 1 tbsp Fatfree ranch dressing
Dinner: 2 slices of nature’s own light wheat bread with 3 slices of turkey, 3 slices of roast beef, 1 tbsp fat free mayo and 1 slice fat-free cheddar cheese with 1 serving of sour cream and onion baked lays.
So it was fine up until then…. This was at 7 p.m. Then we went to play poker and guess what? I had wine! Yes, 3 glasses…. Then I started getting hungry at 10 (guess the sandwich/chips didn’t hold me over). Instead of making a snack when I got home (at 11:30) I made breakfast! Yes, I made ANOTHER muffin/egg/Morningstar sausage sandwich! ARGH. Before the wine/EXTRA sandwich I had 1,182 calories…. Sigh. What are you going to do? I wanted to drink and I was hungry… in retrospect I could have just had reduced fat cheez its or something. Oh well….

What I did at the gym:
4 shoulder exercises (forward raises, lateral raises, shoulder press & zip-ups)
Bicep exercises (forward curls, side curls, hammer curls, etc.)
Roman chair (for lower back
4 miles on treadmill (walking 4 mph): burned 274 calories

Overall Assessment: In the end, I had 1,644 calories coming in and expended 274 on the treadmill, leaving me at 1,370 calories – which is in the rec zone but seems high. Oh well… what are you going to do? This week has been rough! I’m work at home today so I can cook healthy for breakfast, lunch and dinner and I have 4 miles and pilates planned for this afternoon so that’s good! Wish me luck….
Oh and since i'm here - i'll combine my weigh in with this assessment... drumroll please... today i'm at 129 - a +.5 gain from yesterday. Not too bad! I REALLY want to stay in the 120's now so this squeaks right in!
