So the bad news? I can’t work out until Saturday…. At the earliest. No 4 miles today… no pilates… no hip hop. :( I’m supposed to stay off of it because it’s going to be sore and they even gave me pain pills. So now I’m at home, pissy, with a big brown cartoon toe and annoyed that I can’t work out today. But I know I can’t so what are you going to do?
Best case scenario: I feel better Saturday so I can make that 2 miles 4.5 miles… then use my off day, Sunday, to do another 4.5 miles. Then I’d only be 1 mile behind this week’s goal. Of course all of this is based on me not being sore Saturday…. So here’s hoping!!
Worst case scenario: I don’t feel better until next week and I gain back all of the weight I lost. My husband insists this won’t happen…and told me to stop being a baby and take a pain killer and quit whining! Haha Tough love, I get it.
Either way – I’m here… involuntarily… until hopefully Saturday. SIGH.

:) He's made me stay in bed! OMG - when we took the gauze off to clean it/put a bandaid on... it was one of THE most painful things EVER. Tears... and you know how well I compartmentalize pain. DANG TOE!

Your math is right! It's odd though - i've been doing the working out thing since late April and while i've lost inches i couldn't shake pounds... at ALL. Then i found myself finally losing weight during the week, and gaining it all back on the weekend starting where I left off! So I decided to count calories to find patterns like this and I think I just broke through a plateau and am FINALLY seeing results! Thanks!!
