Day 30: Wednesday, Oct. 1, Assessment

I started my month out poorly – eek! It all started after my healthy breakfast. I went to P.F. Chang. Oh no… that would be mistake #1. Then later I drank at poker – which is fine, but not after P.F. Chang! What I Ate Today. 1,696 calories, 42 fat grams, 160 carbs. Yes, calories are too high – not good. I’ve actually had high calories for a few days now – not cool! I’ve got to start being better. I’ve done this before, I get excited about losing weight then slowly revert back to my ‘old ways’! SIGH. I can’t wait until this becomes a natural habit…

On the plus side, I did get into the gym for 2.5 miles (broken up on treadill/elipitical) and did shoulders and biceps. Yay! Can’t wait to go today!

And two more pieces of good news: won $ in poker last night – woo! – and I still weighed 125.5 again this morning. Again, I didn’t deserve it and if I keep this up the scale is so going to turn on me! Gina suggested I get a body fat test and I want to do it! I’m going to look into it today.

Mmm PF Changs...yummy fried breaded foods, laying in salt and sugar heavy sauces...I LOVE PF Changs but you're right, it's a dangerous place. I'm sure they have healthy options but I never took the time to look for them, heh.

Great job with working out though. It means you had the mindset to not let a bad lunch become a free for all for the rest of the day. I call that a success.

I KNOW! Chinese and Thai are SUCH yummy yummy foods that make me WEAK. Honestly - I think PF makes it's vegetables unhealthy. SAD.

Thanks... I didn't want to go. I wanted to go wallow in a bag of baked cheetos... but i'm glad I went. Speaking of - I need to get up and go soon! :)Thanks again!

I SO know what you mean about slipping back into old habits once you start to lose.

I did that.

It gets away from you. Or it did with me. Boo! :(
