Day 41: Sunday, Oct. 12, Assessment

So yesterday was kind of blah. I woke up exhausted. Not hungover or anything just TIRED. I ate my jimmy dean d-light (good!) and bummed around their house, played on the computer, etc. It got to be around 1 p.m. and we needed to go and we needed to eat. We were both CRAVING the chicken soft tacos at this Mexican restaurant we used to hit up in college (well honestly we were craving cheese dip, cheese-covered burritos, cheesy enchiladas, etc., but we settled on the tacos). We order the tacos and each eat 2 in the car (yes, we’re talented – mind you Reuben rides up front with us, too). We get home and a few hours later – I go back for my third and final taco. Glorious. Around 8 I’m like OMG – I’m starving. Austin’s like yeah – you’ve had a jimmy dean and 3 tacos. So I make ramen. Yes… what was I thinking? Sigh… then I chase the ramen with reduced fat cheez its. Oh will the day not end? I think I was just so tired I had no willpower and was just like food, food WHERE ARE YOU?! At least I was able to not eat too many chips/salsa. It is what it is. At the end of the day I had 1,457 calories (good), 51 fat grams (good) and 153 carbs (low) – but I know it wasn’t a healthy day – I just ate crap all day. Sigh. Here’s the details of What I Ate Today.

Now that I’m 13 days into the month (almost two weeks) I need to look at October’s goals and see how I’m stacking up…. I’m kind of scared to do this! eek!

And today is going good – had the usual jimmy dean d-light (amazing fabulousness as always), had boca lasagna for lunch (almost my favorite frozen meal – it’s just SO good and it tastes like real meat – even Austin loves them) and I’ve had 2 100-calorie packs. I’m full and don’t plan to eat again until early dinner (probably 6 p.m.). And I got in my 3-mile walk during lunch today. I might try to do another mile or two after work but if not, i'm just going to do abs and call it a day... SIGH... Mondays.

I may have to try that Boca lasagne.

If Austin likes it, it must be good! :)

it's REALLY good. I like Boca's lasagna, Smart Ones' Lasagna Florentine and if i'm not very hungry (i.e. light dinner) I do Smart Ones' Lasagna Bolognese (just noodles in a red sauce with little pieces of meat). YUM! Austin likes all three of those! And the lean cuisine french bread pizzas and 3-meat round pizza!
