Day 56: Monday, Oct. 27, 2008 Assessment

Yesterday (Monday – boo) was kind of a rough day…. I didn’t go to bed early enough, was on 6.5 hours when I require 8, it was cold/windy- blah. I woke up weighing 123 – what? Up 2 pounds from Saturday. Whatever. Regardless, I was ready to plow through my busy day…. Until I got to work and my boss called in sick and then four meetings got canceled opening my day up to require me to be motivated. Not good…. I felt like I spun my wheels, got nothing done, and then I felt like crap. For lunch, instead of doing my 3 miles as planned, I went to Sweet Tomatoes for a salad/baked potato. But I also had some mac & cheese…. And soft serve….. then back at work I had a reese’s cup… and a few milk duds. Sabotage! :( I was able to drive over to Knuckle Up and do kickboxing with my workout partner, Mon, again! I enjoyed it – very intense, much easier than the first time and I felt good about it. Still sad that I can’t lunge or do mountain climbers or planks with my foot. :( Makes me feel like I’m not getting the most out of the glass. Boo. Then I drove home and sweet Austin had made the yummy sweet and sour chicken from a couple of weeks ago – YUM! Then he ran to poker and I curled up in bed to watch Bros & Sisters, Gossip Girls and One Tree Hill. Just what I needed.

Here’s my assessment for today! I had 1,626 calories, 255 carbs and 35 fat grams. So good on fat grams, but high on carbs and calories. Really… calories were only over 76 calories and I have no doubt I burnt that, and then some, kickboxing (mixed with circuits; running around the room, squats, push ups, abs, etc.). So while I know I had a little too many treats today (hello – reese’s cup, mac&cheese, duds, fro-yo – eek!). Here’s the details: What I Ate. So you may have noticed that each of my photos had a bit missing… my goal is take more photos of what I eat…. But I always forget! Tomorrow I’m going to try to photograph everything!

Sometimes you just need candy! At least you went to kickboxing and worked some of it off!!!
