Day 63: Monday, Nov. 3, Daily Assessment

So today started out odd with the whole showing up an hour early…. But I was able to leave at 4 p.m. Although I wasn’t able work out during lunch (working lunch). I went in with a positive attitude after last week’s bad days…. But of course the day got bad… then worse… and I ended up having another awful day like last week. But this time nothing could stop me. I drove straight to the gym. Yes, I’d forgotten my sports bra and I was wearing a black bra and a white shirt but whatever- I was WALKING my frustration off dang it. So I got on the treadmill, and got off five miles later… was still ticked off. I did legs, back and tricep strength training and drove home to sweet Austin and sweet puppy, a yummy dinner of buffalo chicken sandwiches and butternut squash fries (yes, husband MADE them!), a new Entourage and True Blood and chill time! I ate, watched the shows and relaxed, then hopped in the shower and packed. Now I’m cuddled in bed watching Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill…. Awww… even bad days end well when you have people (and puppies!) who love you. I hope you all had wonderful Mondays…. and took advantage of the extra hour of sleep unlike me!

All in all, I had 1,453 calories, 208 carbs and 38 fat grams – good! They even catered lunch but I ate a boca lasagna… however, I did have a little bit of pasta salad, and a mini snickers, and a chocolate chip cookie…. And some baked Doritos. But I still came in with the REC zone of calories – even before taking out the calories I burned at the gym – yay! Here’s the details: What I Ate.

Sweetie, I hope you have a FABULOUS time in Vegas! You deserve it!

You're so lucky to have such an awesome husband who always seems to know how to make you feel better. He's such a good guy. :)

Take lots of pictures out there and go see a Cirque show for me! ;-)

p.s. that image you used on this post is perfect (sadly). ;-)

HK: Thanks, girl!! I hope I have a blast - I fly out soon - YAY!! And I brought my gym stuff - my walking buddy is my traveling buddy, too!

Thanks! Yeah - I knew if I didn't I'd go home and be a pill... He DID! I was impressed. And they were better than mine! (his "fry shapes" were impressive). :)

Fitnessista: :) They can!! haha Did you not see my measurements girl?? 30" chest and 33" bust - i've done the math and a sports bra is not required! haha :)

Pissy: Thanks!! I sure hope I do. Austin helped me charge my laptop, camera, DS Lite, etc. and I've got lots of sudoku and books - i'm ready!! He does... he just hates to see me sad and now he asks when i'm mad, "do you want a solution or sympathy?" haha Last night I said sympathy. :)

I will take lots of pics but cirque is a no go - i'm saving money, remember?! haha Actually I looked into it and it's some risque show - i'll post the link in a minute!

The cirque show is Zumanity: Zumanity, the Sensual Side of Cirque du Soleil, is a seductive twist on reality, making the provocative playful and the forbidden electrifying! Leave all inhibitions at the door and let loose as this adult-themed production takes you on a sexy thrill ride full of sensational acrobatics and naughty fun. Part burlesque and part cabaret, Zumanity is one full night you'll never forget! Zumanity was created for adults 18 and over. Only at New York-New York Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas.

Yeah - that doesn't sound cute like Beatles love... and the pics are all in lingerie. Not my kind of cirque!!

Eurydice: Thanks! It felt good! Although i'd love to be a swimmer like you - very cool!!

Biz319: It did - the bad ones normally do - thankfully! I did - i'm here and WAY too close that roller coaster I was worried about.... DANG. It's not so much the WOO that's bugging me it's the whoosh of the track and the vibration it makes. Sigh...
