Day 106: Getting Back to Normal

Yesterday was a pretty good day I must say! I got up, weighed 119 (up a half pound) and took Reuben to the “hotel” apartment for the day. Work was good – stayed busy, walked 3 miles during lunch, nice. I will say I had a massive headache from the weather change, and ate WAY too many snacks… but what are you going to do? Austin worked out during lunch so he offered to cook dinner if I sent him a recipe. I went to the gym after work, walked 2 more miles and did legs (my least favorite) and got home to a FABULOUS “chicken fingers and fries” dinner (the breaded chicken tenders from the chicken parmesan recipe and butternut squash fries). Everything was SO good. I also got to talk to my friend Emily for an hour! (She lives in D.C. so we don’t get to catch up as often as I’d like). We ate dinner, played cards and watched this cute Michael J. Fox movie I somehow missed- secret of my success? Adorable. At the end of the day I had 1,545 calories, 202 carbs and 42 fat grams. Not bad but definitely at the tippy top of my levels! I did walk 5 miles though which burned 270 calories so not bad!! Here’s what I ate.

Today I have LOTS to do. I need to walk, do abs and do back strength training. I also need to go to Bed Bath and Beyond for a gift, swing by Kroger for muffins (OMG we run through them so fast!) and go to a few shops for Christmas presents… and pack. Dang – I’m not going to chill tonight! I hope to finish my shopping this evening – wish me luck!

oh totally - I walk between 4.0 and 4.3. If I walk flat - I try to walk at 4.2 or 4.3, but if I walk at a 4-7 incline, I walk at a 4.0.
