So, to backtrack real quick, most of my morning was slightly shot because I was SO nervous about the 11 a.m. stucco inspection- but it WENT WELL! All of the big things we were worried about are no longer concerns (i.e. it’s hardcoat stucco not synthetic; the moisture levels are normal not high; the stucco is well maintained and in good shape – no termites and no major areas of concern for termites). Austin was with the guy for an hour before the seller showed up, so he got to ask lots of questions and he feels much better about the condition of the home. And the seller was very nice and walked Austin through the house discussing things he changed, tips on maintenance, etc. Now, we’re waiting on the report – hoping to get it ASAP today. The only other ‘big thing’ is that the treatment the seller did on the windows to remove the moisture has left a white residue making them look dirty. We want to make sure this is remedied before the move-in. Other than that, I just have lots of questions about when all of this stuff gets done. During due diligence? I emailed our awesome realtor Amanda so I’m sure I’ll know something soon! So, in other words, it’s looking like the house will be ours!! Here are some more pics…. I just love it!!!!!!
The den next to/in the same room as the kitchen (where the pool table will go)
The Entryway
View from inside the kitchen/den to the front door
You've seen this! BTW - the trees will be trimmed PRONTO - I hate the ones by the front door!
The master bedroom! It's upstairs with 3 small bedrooms (2 guest rooms and a scrapbook room for me) and a bonus room for Austin's XBox room!
The kitchen! The first thing we'll get is a new fridge and new hardware. Granite will come later with white subway tile backsplash and that will be it!
The Entryway from the front door
The back
The patio, picket fence and flagstone island
Retaining wall from the left side of the backyard
Living room is off the right of the stairs; dining room is off the left - both need hardwoods pronto!
Austin's bonus room upstairs
Flagstone path down the left of the house from the driveway to the backyard
That's it!! I can't wait to get in there and make it our own. I REALLY can't!
