Day 337: 4 miles + Working for the Weekend + Relaxing Evening

I woke up EXHAUSTED – grrr. Maybe I’ll finally catch up on my sleep this weekend. Sad! Usually I’m caught up by Tuesday! Anywho, I went down for some honeynut cheerios but Austin had cleared me out! Eek! I threw together some TJ’s waffles and fat free syrup and got to work. Had a busy morning, and took my lunch to eat with Austin: Pita Pizzas! It had been so long since I’d had them – forgot how good they are!

After lunch I had an equally busy afternoon (and frustrating…), and was SO glad when 5 p.m. hit. I fed pupper and then left straight away from the gym for brisk 4-mile walk (burned 370 calories in 58 minutes!) I left the gym and got gas, swung by to pick up a book at B&N and then popped in and out of the mall to get some Clinique moisturizer and eye make up remover – faves! I got home and immediately threw together these chimichangas – love them! (but I had to substitute black beans for refried AND forgot green onions – sad – I even had them on hand just forgot). We ate our chimichangas and watched a Law & Order – PERFECT evening.

I then cooked breakfast and lunch for tomorrow, and went upstairs to shower, unwind, and watch the finale of SYTYCD (amazing - SO happy for for the winner; exactly who me and my mom/sister wanted to win - YAY!!) and get started on my book (Time Travelers Wife for the book club). Wonderful evening fo sho. I’m ready for my work day to begin and end– I need my weekend, friends. I have NO PLANS and I’m PRETTY PUMPED about it. I’m sure we’ll end up going out Saturday but it’s going to be glorious to leave work today, go to the gym and go straight home – no having to rush out and be somewhere. I plan to pool it Saturday and do stuff around the house – I can’t wait! Do any of you have exciting plans?

Anywho – clearly I’m ready for the weekend! Haha I ended Thursday at 1,659 calories, 221 carbs, 38 fat grams and 96 fat grams – it felt great and super balanced! I felt full all day and I loved the variety of stuff from waffles and pizza to chimichangas and brownies. Yes, I needed more vegetables (for sure!) but it felt like a good day! Here’s what I ate.

No plans this weekend either except enjoying the sunshine, which has finally decided to show up! Yay!
Good job with your walks. I'm shooting for at least 3 miles with all my walks now, after seeing how helpful it has been to your maintenance!
Enjoy your weekend!

Girl that pizza looks insane!

I feel the same way about weekends. It's nice to have busy ones every now and then but I feel like it is just non stop for me! This weekend we already have happy hour tonight, boating/pool tomorrow, and I have a baby shower on Sunday...yikes!

I have those days where I just don't eat any veggies and eat waffles and brownies and well just food that's good for the soul! hah! It nurtures my mind I think!
Gotta love it!

Lucky you...no plans for the weekend. I work 2, 12 hour shifts. Boo. And it is actually going to be beautiful and HOT here for the weekend and I will be indoors with sick people all day. But, at least I wont be the patient--I hope not anyway.

Those pizzas do look YUMMY!

I love having a free weekend every now and then to just un wind. The week is so busy and go, go, go, that a weekend of nothingness is so nice.

This weekend, I have a race tomorrow morning, and then Jimmy Buffett concert tomorrow night. Hells yes!
