Saturday ended up being a blasty!! We hung out at the house, had my enchiladas (aka For the Love of Cooking’s enchiladas), then Teresa, me, Austin, Zach and his new girlfriend Lauren headed to tailgate! It rained. Of course. So I bought a pancho (no; it wasn’t supposed to rain). Then it stopped but it was COLD, way colder than it was supposed to be! I did get a fun phone call – my friend since elementary school called to see if me and Austin wanted two extra tickets to her family’s private suite. Yes, no bad weather, free alchol/food/privacy/bathroom/view/ticket – AWESOME! And I would get to catch up with her – woo hoo! Before meeting them we tailgated and had fun visiting with everyone and getting dangerously close to the portable heaters. Then Erin and Christine (friend since middle school) grabbed me and Austin and we headed to the suite! It was awesome! What a perfect game to get hooked up – the place was insane (I’d never been in a box before). I couldn’t get over the view, the stadium seating, being able to watch instant replays of the game in front of you via a mounted flat screen and the HUGE bathroom. And of course the full bar and catering. Love it, ladies! So we had a blasty, got drunky, then went to the bar…. Then right as I paid cover everyone was ready to go, so we headed to Teresa’s and hung out, drank, played trivial pursuit. Good times! Here's some pics:

Me, T and Lindz!
My calories are all over the map – I mean really, I have no idea if this is accurate so here we go…2,390 calories, 151 carbs, 69 fat grams and 85 protein grams – not as bad as I thought! Then again, dinner is all estimates! Here’s what I ate and drank.
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
5 tbsp light brown sugar
1 14-ounce can petite diced tomatoes, undrained
½ tsp red pepper flakes
8 6” corn tortillas
I just had these for dinner tonight and we LOVED these! Definitely making them again – maybe with more chicken? I don’t know – just to make it a bit more filling. Either way – SO good!! I found a ton of recipes on her site and can’t wait to try them – VERY excited to find a new recipe site of course.
As far as today, I got up, got ready and worked A LOT. Then I walked 4 miles during lunch and worked more – blah! The hair did good during the work out – you never know how it’s going to do with a pony you know? I planned to work out but felt really overwhelmed and behind at work, so I headed straight home to relax and work more. Goo. I also cooked two more recipes: Cheesy Stuffed Shells and Crockpot Chicken Tortilla Soup! I’ll post the recipes once I taste them – hopefully I’ll like them!! I’m now in bed watching TV, definitely done eating for the day ending up at 1,452 calories, 160 carbs, 41 fat grams and 102 protein grams. Here’s what I ate.
K -off to watch Gossip Girl with Reuben and read blogs - woo! Happy Monday!!

What a fun time! Your tacos look really tasty.
Sounds like you all had a fab fun time. We went to the Mizzou game a week ago last Thursday and got STORMED on...power went out and everything, but we stuck it out like troopers...in our ponchos! Love it.
The game looks like an absolute blast. I've def sat out at freezing college games so I know how excited you must have been when you found out abou the suite. The crock pot tacos sounds great- I need to make these for Josh
I really need to check out more of your recipies - I love the look of those Tacos!

Sounds like fun!
I love the taco recipe. I have been meaning to use my slow cooker, but I have had some bad results, so I have been avoiding it. These sound easy and tasty!
What a great way to watch the game! Your new recipes sound interesting, esp the crockpot soup. Can't wait to hear how it turned out for you.
inmytummy: yes - great luck! :)
pissy: thanks! Just Erin (no Billy or Marie!) - good times though!
Pam: Thanks - we really liked them.
Neesha: We did have a fun fab time! I know - all games have been stormed out lately - hate it! Power went out?! Oh no!
Erica: It was!! I know it - we got lucky with that suite for sure. Austin was a fan! (although he thought his serving should have been 3 tacos). :)
Beforeandforever: oh thanks!! I need to try some of yours - you're always cooking something up!
Andrea: Thanks! Oh no - so far the crock pot has gone well - then again, the tacos were the first thing i've ever done in there. haha
Jacey: Definitely! It smelled really good last night... I hope it works out!!
I'm going to have try those tacos one night! They look yummy! Looks like you all had a fun weekend - my hubby thoroughly enjoyed the ending of that game - he is an annoying UK fan. :)
The photos are adorable! It looks like a great time :)
You look so cute in your pancho! I want to try those tacos.. I love anything spicy!
OMG how awesome that you guys totally had the hook-up at the most perfect time. I have been in UF's boxes a couple of times and they are seriously amazing. I always kinda feel like I don't belong...I'm not very composed with watching football :)
Looks like a fun weekend! Love your hair!!!
Aw, you make ponchos look so cute!
The sweet and spicy tacos look tasty. I'm a big fan of sweet and spicy things.
What good luck you had getting into the suite!! I could have used some of that luck at my recent trip to Notre Dame. Freezing at football games aren't fun. :(
I am loving your new hair!
Glad you had such a fun weekend. That suite looks awesome!
You kids are soooo cute; love the pictures and the tacos; yum!!
;-)
Score on the suite! Now that's how to watch a game! :D
Looking forward to your crockpot tortilla soup!
