Let me back up a bit: Wednesday was just work, ran 3 miles during lunch at 6.3 mph/walked 1/4 mile (showered), and then after work I headed straight over to Stacy's for the Kings of Leon/Black Keys concert! (Reuben was already over there - Austin dropped him off that afternoon when he headed to the airport to an overnight work trip in Fort Lauderdale!). I rode with her and her husband, Shane, and met up with their friends for some pre-concert tailgating. We parked next to this billboard....

The concert was fun - saw some of our co-workers, and a friend I hadn't seen since high school. I missed Austin of course but had fun chilling with the girls and taking pictures. We got home around midnight after a late Taco Bell stop - those tacos were SO good (I counted them as breakfast the next day!) haha I ended up at 2,220 calories, 195 carbs, 51 fat grams and 122 protein grams. Here's what I ate.

Thursday me and Reuben woke up at 7, headed out, got some gas, then got to my house to start working! I was tired, so I took my lunch break to nap. Then after work I got tailgate ready: made a marinade, made a pasta salad, made a dressing, made magical margarita, made guacamole and packed up all of the travel plates, cups, skewers, shot glasses, liquors, mixers and more - woo!! Then it was off to the mail for a dress - apparently we're doing all blue this weekend so it required a new one! I hit up Macy's and got two - I plan to wear this great Michael Kors one Saturday!

It was originally $100, on sale for $56 with a percentage off so it rang up at $30 and when I used my Macy's card I got $4 off so $26. Q: Do you stay with friends when your roommate/significant other is out of town? I'm a big baby. I much prefer to have someone come stay or to stay at someone's until Austin is back!
Q: Do you like Michael Kors? I'm a fan - his designs are usually classic and well-made and I like him on Project Runway. I only have a few of his pieces and this dress is def my favorite so far!
Q: Do you eat more/make poorer choices when you're tired? I do... :(

What an awesome concert -- jealous!
Tom and I definitely enjoy having our own space for the first day or two when the other is gone. Then after that we just really want to not be by ourselves. Sometimes he only sleeps on the couch -- poor thing.
When he's gone in October I have serious plans I'm lining up to keep myself busy for the couple of days he'll be in Boston.

Girl- YES. When I'm tired the last thing I want to do cook or make anything healthy. Plus, I convince myself that the reason I'm tired is because I need sugar, so I'll eat some cookies. Hehe!!

I think that is so cute that you like to be with friends or vice versa when he's out of town. :) I'm really bad with designers so I don't know enough of his collection but I do LOVE that dress, especially in navy. Such a good color and the dress looks like it's going to be fab on you. And when I'm tired I try to just sleep (or make tea) but if I need to eat, yes the choices dwindle down to whatever is closest/easiest!

While Ryan is gone, I'm moving back home. Screw sleeping alone for a year. I lasted 2 months last time and peaced out of NY. So I don't blame you!

I make poor choices when I'm feeling emotional. I will be working on that while Ryan is gone. Counting down to him leaving is the worst part of deployment.

I like Michael Kors. I friend of mine's sister does some sort of PR for him and can get my friend some ridiculous discount which she has said she can give me if we go shopping together at the MK store.

I LOVE the dress! And what a great deal you got! I really like Michael Kors. I fell in love with one of his coats last year, but never got it as I never found it on sale, and it was just a bit too pricey...

Taco Bell is a huge weakness for me. I usually only eat there late at night when I've had too much to drink. You'd think I hadn't eaten in weeks.....I order too much and mmm and ahhh through the whole thing.
I don't mind being alone when Chris is away bc I have my dog. I sometimes eat poorly if I'm tired too. Love the dress, super cute.
