Surprise Concert Tix, 4-mile Walk, Cooking Marathon

hehe thanks you guys! Baby Emma is just as sweet as she is pretty - LOVE HER! Also, want to say SORRY! I'm catching up on blog reading today but have been a bit behind - hate that!! I've been playing a bit of catch up on life (back into work/workouts/cooking/etc.!) So yesterday ended up being a bit exciting! It started out with just work. Blah. And a 4-mile walk during lunch with Stacy. Blah (no offense Stacy but I had no motivation!). Around 3 p.m. Stacy & me were given free Kings of Leon/Black Keys tickets for Wednesday night. Um, yes, let's go! (only bad things: We had Andy's birthday dinner Wednesday - eek - so glad i'll get to celebrate with him this weekend! Also, Austin can't make it- dang Fort Lauderdale). Other that THAT, i'm excited to go to the concert!

After work I just did laundry, and had a marathon cooking night - woo! I cooked the following:
  • 6 servings Cream of Mushroom Bake
  • 4 servings Buffalo Chicken Chili
  • 4 servings Mushroom & Spinach Lasagna
  • 4 servings Chicken Tetrazzini
  • 4 servings Green Chicken Enchiladas
  • 4 servings of Spinach, Tomato & Feta Quiche - NEW!

Now all that's left to cook this week is tailgate stuff (marinade; magical margarita; pasta salad and guacamole). I'll do this on Thursday - perfect! After cooking it was time for bed and then Entourage & True Blood finales - wowza!

I ended up at 1,609 calories, 200 carbs, 51 fat grams and 82 protein grams. Here's what I ate.

Tomorrow i'll post the new recipe - yay! I had it for dinner... loved it!

Q: Breakfast for dinner: Yay or Nay? It's normally not for me but sometimes i'm in the mood!!

Q: Did you watch Entourage and/or True Blood finales? If so, what did you think? With Entourage I was like finally - things are coming to a head. It's about time. It was good, but mostly i'm just glad this season is over as it wasn't my favorite.

The boyfriend loves breakfast food, so on occasion, we'll make waffles for dinner. In general though, that's it--waffles and pancakes. I don't want sausage and eggs!

I don't watch either of those shows. I think I'm missing out...

We do breakfast for dinner all the time! I love to make a skillet of sweet potatoes, eggs, peppers, onions, and sausage. So delish!

I watched the True Blood finale. I didn't think this season was as great as the others and the finale was kind of weak. It did leave a lot open for next season though.

I occasionally eat breakfast for dinner. It's a very rare thing and I usually only do it when I'm in America.

I managed to catch the True Blood finale, and it just proves that I hate cliffhangers! I wasn't as impressed with the finale as I would have liked to be.

I Love Entourage. I agree that this season wasn't the best but the season finale was jam packed and more than made up for it!
