Fitting Back In: Busy, Busy Football Weekend, 8-0, 4 Miles

Thanks you guys - that chili bean supreme was the bomb - way too easy and filling to not repeat!! And I love that so many of you workout with your peeps, while others prefer to ride solo. I like to have a workout buddy that's on my level (i.e. Stacy) - but it's nice to have Austin there at the gym with me - motivating!

So i'm coming off of another great whirl-wind weekend! Loved every second of it!! Friday was just work, 4-mile walk during lunch, more work and then LATE work - ended up having to work until 7 - eek. It's all good though. I wrapped it up, then quickly packed and we were off at 7:30 p.m. We got in town around 9 p.m. (central time), visited with Teresa, Forrest, Mary and Jimmy, had a couple of beers and then called it a night at 11 p.m. - had to get to bed for game day! Saturday I was up at 6:15, in the shower, out the door and to the tailgate by 8:30 a.m. BEAUTIFUL day, great friends, fun times - I seriously had SUCH a good time. Reuben enjoyed it too - and got so much love from our friends, old and new. The Auburn game was great to watch. A little scary, a little intense - but we WON - 8-0 and as of 30 minutes ago, we are #1 in the nation per the BCS Standing! WOOP WOO! Here's some pics:

After the game we visited for a while, had some great kebobs thanks to Jimmy and Mary, and Erin came to meet up with us -I hadn't seen her in forever so great times ensued. We got back to Teresa and Forrest's around 9 p.m. and wanted to hit the bars for a bit - but they were PACKED so we just hit up Mellow Mushroom instead - good times. This is how silly those two are:
