Lovely Saturday = My Sister's First Baby Shower, South Carolina Wedding

hehe I promise I wouldn't know what Kinect was if I wasn't married to a gamer! To fill in those who don't know, it's a video game through xBox live where your body is the controller. It's kind of insane - very cool. Here's a short video if you're interested in seeing what it's about.
It's pretty fun! Anywho, yesterday was a great day! I slept in, got ready, then headed to Decatur for my sister's first baby shower. It was wonderful to see her and my mom, and to be with so many fabulous ladies who support my sister wholeheartedly. I enjoyed it and took TONS of pics, especially since her photographer husband couldn't be there since it was ladies only! Here are some pics:

Wonderful shower indeed! Afterwards, I drove straight home from Decatur, changed dresses and headed to Greenville, South Carolina to celebrate Andrew and Laura Anne's wedding. Their reception was at this VERY cool location called Zen. It was loft style and contemporary with a cool lounge area and great space. They had a wonderful turn-out of friends and family, and we enjoyed celebrating with them! I also enjoyed seeing the usual suspects like Andy and Mon, and people I rarely get to see like Katie and Laura - so fun to visit!

After the wedding we headed back to Atlanta around 11:30 p.m., and got in around 1:30 a.m. and went straight to bed - wonderful, albeit LONG, day!

Q: What are you up to today? I'm having a lazy day at the house - rest, rest and more rest!

Q: Do you like baby showers? I know we've talked weddings - but not baby showers. I have to admit, I think they're a lot of fun, although I wish the baby was there. I know that would partially defeat the purpose - but I think it would be fun to have the little baby there!
