Stacy's Egg Trick, New Slowcooker Recipe, 4 Miles

Hello! Happy Wednesday! I hope you're all having good ones. And thank you for your comments on the water bottle and HRM - both were great products! I'll keep you posted on the potential giveaway! :) To wrap up my Tuesday, it was pretty much just work, 2 miles + abs + shoulders + triceps during lunch, more work, 2 miles after work, traffic to get home, then time with the puppers and some TV! Not a bad Tuesday!

My Wednesday has been pretty good all things considered - I just got up EARLY, had a dentist appointment at 7:30 a.m., drove into work and did Stacy's egg trick. Breakfast: So I brought a muffin already cut in half, tossed it in the toaster. I brought a small, round container (same diameter as muffin) with an egg cracked inside of it and a splash of milk and salt, 2 strips of turkey bacon, not cooked, and 1/2 slice of cheese. The egg trick: Scramble the egg and put it in the microwave for 40 seconds. Voila: no skillet? No problem - a yummy egg for your breakfast sammy. I then plopped this on the now-toasted muffin, nuked the bacon and dropped the cheese on. Easy peasy and pretty dang good! I'm sure many of you may have done this before but it was my first time and I think it's genius! Thanks, Stacy!

Moving on, I just worked, worked through lunch, worked more and then headed straight home! There I just hung out with the puppers, did back and biceps with free weights and worked more. Am still working. Blah I do plan to do a bit of cooking (new recipes!) - of course - I just can't get enough of it! Which brings me to a new recipe I have to share!

Q: Lately i've been seeing a lot of bloggers discuss "love-hate relationships" with their slowcookers or how they are "frenemies" with their slowcookers. If you have one, what is your relationship like with it? True story - me and my slowcooker are besties. If anything mine is sad that it doesn't have a sibling - it keeps asking for one and I KNOW i'd use it but can't decide if a family of 2 humans/2 puppers truly needs 2 slowcookers. LOL

Q: Do you like mushrooms? I have no doubt some of your responses will hurt my feelings. Mushrooms are far and away my favorite veggie - always have been! I'm tres loyal to the shroom!
