Spinning, Chilling, Giveaway Winner

Thanks you guys!! I'm LOVING the new flipflops - can't wait to get another pair in a different color (once I have a coupon of course). And general consensus seemed to say they'd rather workout than diet FOR SURE - love those would you rathers. :) So my Friday was truly spent doing this with Austin. Picture pups running ALL around whilst playing = fun night!

Saturday I got up early, took the babies to the grooming salon for shampoo, cut and styles (hehe) and went to the gym. I was late for body pump and there were no spots. NONE. And it wasn't the teacher that I wake up to see. SO, I hit the weights and did workouts for triceps, biceps and shoulders. Before I knew it was 9:15 - time for spin! I had another great spin class - this instructor was super motivating (i.e. GO GO GO grrrrr). LOL I started the HRM right when I started ST, and stopped it right when we started stretching after spin.

HRM said: 83 minutes, 607 calories, 24 fat-burning minutes and 59 fitness minutes, average HR of 144 and maximum HR of 176. WOO. After class I put on the new flipflops - BLISS. Then I got gas, hit up the grocery store, got home and took a nap. I woke up around 2 p.m., cooked some meals for my sis and bro-in-law, showered, and then we headed over to hang out with these people:
Yes, we had a lovely evening with the new family (my sis & bro-in-law and baby Dane), along with my mom! We brought dinner over, and about 4 meals for later, and just visited, chatted, and got to see little Dane on his first day home in his new room. He was super alert so I had fun playing with him (i.e. laying him on my legs and letting him squirm and grip my finger hehe). We left around 10, stopped by Frontpage News for a drink with Andy & Mon, Andrew & Laura Anne, then a stop by Pepperoni's for a Blue Moon, pool game and visit with Haley & Natalie. Then time for bed!

And now for one of the exciting things I received on Friday - Jenny from Not Just a Pretty Face hosted a giveaway for a Perricone product up to $150. I chose cold plasma and can't WAIT to start it. According to the site, "Cold Plasma helps correct the ten most visible signs of aging: wrinkles, enlarged pores, dryness, redness, discoloration, uneven skin tone, impurities, loss of firmness, loss of smoothness, and loss of radiance." Bring on the better skin! I'll keep you posted on the results!
Q: Do you use any anti-aging products? If so, when did you start and which do you use?

Q: What was the highlight of your weekend?
