New Easy Breakfast Recipe, Spinning, Out in ATL

Happy Saturday! I hope you're all having great weekends! Mine has been wonderful so far!! Backing up real quick...
Thursday was a much-needed rest day! I kind of like the idea of a busy Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday - 3 days solid of working hard and working out hard, then Thursday is work from home, no gym day. Rest and relax on my laptop, working, obviously, but without the commute, people, etc. So as you can see yesterday was pretty chill. Just had breakfast with Austin, worked, took my lunch to run errands, worked more, then did laundry, cooked a bit and went to bed early. Lovely Thursday! I did watch a couple of Ally McBeals. I used to LOVE this show - me and my mom watched it together. Now it's streaming on NetFlix OnDemand so I'm watching it from start to finish.

I also have a new recipe to share - this one is a yummy, simple breakfast recipe - Ham and Cheese Crescent Pockets!

Easy Ham & Cheese Breakfast Pockets
Makes 4 Servings

Nutritional Information: 279 calories, 25 carbs, 11 fat grams and 19 protein grams.

Huge fan of these little guys. Loved how easy they were to put together! Check out the recipe on Healthified Kitchen.

Friday was a great day! I woke up early for the 6 a.m. spin class! I did 47 minutes of spinning, then hopped off the treadmill and ran 1 mile (3/4 at 6.3 mph and 1/4 at 7 mph). HRM said: 61 minutes, 478 calories; 8 fat-burning minutes; 53 fitness minutes; Average HR: 150; Max HR: 183. Afterwards I worked, and then took my lunch to go to the gym with Stacy, we walked 1.5 miles, and did back and chest. Then it was just more work before heading home to change real quick, hit up Starbucks and go out out for Monica's birthday! We went to dinner at Genki in Buckhead. It was yummy - I had a california roll. :) Then we went to Fado for drinks and good times - love it! So glad to get to hang out with everyone and celebrate Mon's birthday! Here's some pics:

ze group at Genki! Guy cut the birthday girl and her husband out of every picture. SIGH

the girls outside at Fado - I think this was before poor Monica burned her hair in the outdoor fireplace. eek!
Austin and the birthday girl! They look like brother and sister - i'd never noticed then it was like WHOA!
The girls at Fado!

Such a fun night!! I'm having a good day today too - lots of errands with Austin!

Q: What are you up to today?

Q: Have you ever seen Ally McBeal? Do you like it?

Q: Do you have a favorite breakfast meat or soy meat? I love turkey bacon, sausage and ham but if I had to choose i'd choose reduced fat sausage or soysage like Morningstar farms. It just seems SO 'breakfasty' and it's super filling in the a.m.

You can make $20 for a 20 minute survey!

Guess what? This is exactly what big companies are paying for. They need to know what their customer needs and wants. So large companies pay millions of dollars per month to the average person. In return, the average person, like myself, fills out surveys and gives them their opinion.
