Wow – today I woke up HUNGRY! I ate my Jimmy Dean d-light before I even left the house – a rarity! Now it’s 11 a.m. and I’m trying to decide if I want to hold off until lunch or have a snack now…. Hmmmm.
NEWS: I’m going to Chicago Sept. 21 – 23 for a conference (i.e. Downtown Chicago/Magnificent Mile). I’m super excited. I already checked – the hotel I’m staying at has a 24-hour gym. I’m SO good… :)
So I can’t have my diet Pepsi today – sad! And I’ve really gotten into my glass-of-wine-with-cigarette Fridays and while the wine is in (if it’s white) the cigarette is out. Boo – thankfully my week hasn’t been stressful!
I’m still loving my teeth! I sent the dentist a thank you note and before/after pictures last night – I just LOVED them. I need to go on Kudzu and Yelp today to give them great reviews! This morning I called the dentist for 3 things: (1) Can I have a cigarette with wine tonight? Answer: no. (2) The right side of my bottom lip is slightly burned – like it’s sun burned. Is this normal? Answer: yes, it will go down in 2-3 days. (3) I have little white specs on my teeth – like almost bright white stains on my bright white teeth. Is this normal? Answer: yes, your teeth are really dehydrated right now and it will set in. We’ve never seen it not set in but if you’re still concerned by late next week please call. Yay! I feel better – and the girl said she had just shared my email with John and some others at the office – hehe.
I just had a meeting with my boss and feel A LOT better. Basically since I moved into my new role I feel severely underutilized…. Like I had more responsibility last year at a lower position. So she scheduled a 1-hour check in to discuss my workload and give me an update on the process change to give me more work – YAY! Now my blogging will probably go down to 1/day like a normal person! Haha Here’s hoping – there’s nothing worse than being bored at work… well that’s not true… but it sucks nonetheless.
K – off to get started on some of my new assignments… think I’m going to wait until lunch to eat again.

:) Yes! I also have two other trips coming up for work - one to Detroit and one to Vegas! Those aren't set in stone yet so I haven't really told anyone!
Yes, Mon is from there and of course loves it, Andy visited and loved it Austin goes a lot for work - he actually helped me get my hotel/flight!
