Days 118 & 119: Wrapping it up & Getting out of Town!

Monday was pretty blah. We took Reuben to the vet before work and work was just silly. No one was there, and I had nothing to do. I did go walk 4 miles during lunch with Stacy which was super fun! I left work at 3 p.m. for an offsite meeting, but got done at 4 p.m. so I had an extra hour – yay! I met up with my sister and mom for 30 minutes or so then went to get Reuben at the vet. I won’t get into it, but let’s just say it took over an hour for me to get him, they tried to charge me $50 more than they should, they were INCREDIBLY rude, and we canceled our contract with them. SIGH. By then it was 7 p.m. and I was exhausted and did not go back to the gym! Instead me and Austin hung out, had some wine and played Rock Band – fun! At the end of the day I had 1,288 calories, 160 carbs and 35 fat grams. Write it down- I was under for carbs – amazing! Haha It was a weird day – I had NO appetite. At the end of the day when I tracked I had like 916 calories (before taking out 216 for walking) – I kind of freaked. So I ate more chips and got a mini baby bel and felt better!! Here’s what I ate.

Construction update: We got our letter! We can now move whenever we want without paying them 4 g’s! Awesome… still no word on the end table/lamp.

Tuesday I was off work. Relaxing, huh? No… I didn’t sleep well and couldn’t sleep in because Austin had to go in. Sad. And the day ended up being super busy. I weighed 118, made a meal plan for our trip to Birmingham and then made all the meals. Yes, I made and/or measured everything into little containers and/or baggies for:

Turkey/Roast beef sandwiches/chips for dinner (in the car)

New Year’s Eve:
Breakfast: Sausage, Egg and Cheese Muffins
Lunch: Greek feta chicken
Dinner: Sweet Potato Fries & Buffalo Chicken Sandwich
Snacks: Granola Bars & Goldfish/Cheez Its

New Year’s Day:
Breakfast: Jimmy Dean d-lights
Lunch: Chicken Parmesan
Snacks: Chips Ahoy crisps & Pretzels

Then I walked 4 miles, bathed Reuben, did laundry, packed up my stuff, Reuben’s stuff & the food, worked for 2 hours, did biceps, triceps and shoulders, showered and got ready (hair/make up) and was out the door at 6 p.m. for Bham (after a difficult time packing all of that stuff into Austin’s Z) and got here in record time! We had two couples over for wine and hanging out then crashed out at 2 a.m.! While I’d done good with eating all day, I made some bad choices when it came to chips/salsa and wine which pushed me into a ‘high’ place at 1,858 calories, 222 carbs and 45 fat grams. So not TOO too bad, but certainly not my best. I did burn 216 calories walking so really – it was 1,642 – that sounds better!! Here’s what I ate.

Today is going well! I got up, slightly hungover, no weigh here, and made breakfast sandwiches. Me and Austin bummed around for an hour or so then he dropped me off at his parents’ gym and I walked 4 miles! I felt SO much better after I did it, got home and made Greek feta chicken. Since then I’ve just been blogging – perfect day! Construction Update: I heard back from the property – they’re paying $600 to replace our lamp and end table! Fab! I need to start getting ready soon! We have a pre-party at 7, a party at 9 and then we’re going out (maybe – depends on how fun the party is of course!) Can’t wait to hang out with 3 of my favorite couples! Which brings me to HAPPY NEW YEAR to all of you!! I hope you and yours have fabulous, safe evenings. I can’t wait!! “See” you next year!

P.S. The pictures may seem kind of random/unrelated to the post, but I just loved them because I think me and Reuben look so happy! haha And we're super happy today curled up in an oversized chair blogging. I hope I have many, many happy days next year. End of cheesiness/post now! :)
