Babies Babies Everywhere, In Defense of Tibet, Don't Test These Besties

Thanks you guys! I loved the coats! And true story, I should have mentioned this, I was SHOCKED at the major PR blunder that was the Groupon commercials during the Superbowl. I mean really? Highlighting and dismissing the Tibetan people's plight to sell deals? Awwwwkkkwwarrrrddd. I did hear that proceeds go to the organizations they exploited to sell coupons... too bad they didn't announce it in their commercials! Here's the ad in case you missed it:

Not much else is up over here. As you know yesterday was all work and no play, no workouts, but of course fabulous coats for FABULOUS prices. I headed straight home from work to 3 beers. Yes, met Austin in the kitchen and had 3 beers while talking to my boss about yet ANOTHER ridiculous request being made of me and my team. SIGH. After the beers I did some stuff for ME - a long shower, a happy movie (Toy Story 2) and time with the family - YAY!

Today was just work, work, work. Work through lunch - crazy busy day. SIGH. However, tomorrow i'm off work. Remember these ladies? My besties: Emily, Megan and Lindsey. Back story reminder: I’ve been friends with Megan since I was 5, Em since I was 14 and Lindz since I was 16, and all of us were on dance line together in high school. In college, I lived with Megan through all of undergrad, and Em lived with us for two years. After college we all split up – me to Atlanta, Megan to Enterprise, Alabama, (our hometown), Lindsey to Brunswick/St. Simons, Gerogia, and Emily to D.C./Virginia. However, we work hard to stay in touch and see each other when we can (also, a special thank you to email, text messaging and facebook!). We were also all in each other's weddings:

Here's why i'm off work... one of us has had a baby! Megan's baby Ava has arrived so we're all flying/driving over to meet her and spend the weekend together!

Isn't Ava PRESH?! Love - can't wait to see little bit in person, and of course to be reunited with my besties!!

Q: Are your friends having babies yet?! I know some of you are like no... I don't even go to weddings yet, then I know some of you are like Samma and EVERYONE is making babies it seems! For me - i'm probably 50/50 - some are on the path, some are on the way to the path - and some have taken another path. I'm so happy for everyone, baby path or not, ,but am of course LOVING meeting these little people who I know will be just as amazing as my friends.

Q: Groupon Commercial: Funny or wrong? I think it was highly unnecessary. It was like BURRRRNNN. And great to give proceeds, but why not announce that? I don't know - I just think they want too far.
